Modest growth amid uncertain times

The greenfield property sector continues to face uncertainties, impacting both current and future buyers. The Victorian property market saw 9,018 sales on a rolling 12-month basis, with 2,588 sales recorded in the last quarter – a 15% quarterly increase.

This marks the strongest quarterly performance since Q3 2022, which is a modest 2% gain on an annual basis and the highest since Q3 2023. However, these improvements still fall short of long-term historical averages.
